What are Second Chance games?
With our Second Chance promotion, eligible non-winning tickets can be scanned to earn free online games for a chance to win cash prizes. In addition to the free online games, eligible non-winning tickets can award in-store play or drawing entries. Drawing entries earned go into a weekly drawing based on the cost of the eligible non-winning ticket the drawing entries were earned from.

What prizes are avalible?
Every eligible non-winning ticket scanned earns free online games for a chance to win cash prizes. As an example, scanning an eligible "Colossal Cashword" ticket earns free games of the online instant game "Caribbean Cashword" which have a chance to win cash prizes.
You may also be awarded coupons for in-store play or drawing entries that go into a weekly drawing based on the cost of the eligible non-winning ticket the drawing entries were earned from.
Lucky winners from the weekly drawings for eligible non-winning $5 or $10 Second Chance tickets win $100 in Instant Tickets.
Lucky winners from the weekly drawings for eligible non-winning $20 Second Chance tickets win $300 in Instant Tickets.
Lucky winners from the weekly drawings for eligible non-winning $30 Second Chance tickets win $300 in Instant Tickets.
How do I play Second Chance games?
To play Second Chance games, you first purchase an eligible in-store Instant Game.

After purchasing an eligible ticket, if that ticket was not a winner, then you can scan the ticket to earn free online games for a chance to win cash prizes. In addition to the free online games that you earn, you may also be awarded a coupon for in-store play or entries to a drawing for up to $300 in Instant tickets.
You can scan tickets using the Official Michigan Lottery Mobile App or the Online Ticket Checker.
How do I view my Second Chance activity?
Looking For Your Free Games?
Upon scanning/entering an eligible non-winning ticket, players may access their free games by selecting the pop-up they are presented with or by visiting the “My Bonus Activity” portion of “My Account” to see an overview. Go to My Bonus Activity.
Looking For Your Coupons?
If you are awarded any coupons you may view your coupons on the "My Coupons" page. Go to My Coupons.
Looking For Your Entries?
You may view your total for the current drawing and past drawings on the "My Entries" page. Go to My Entries.
Can I submit Second Chance Tickets for someone else?
Any tickets submitted online for second chance drawings are associated with the name of the account holder. If one of those entries is selected as the winner, the prize only may be claimed by the account holder.
